The rating agency said that assignment of rating to Baliqchi OJSC will help for further increasing information transparency and investment attractiveness of the company, strengthen its image and raise trust to the company. At the same time, the rating assignment will also protect investors and creditors.

Open joint stock company Baliqchi is one of leading enterprises of fish industry of Uzbekistan. Currently, the company’s capacity is over 3,000 tonnes of commodity fish and 10 million units of young fishes.

Currently, Uzbekistan has significant potential to develop fish industry and water reservoirs, which can be used to breading fish. Total volume of natural water reservoirs makes up about 800,000 hectares and area of artificial water reservoirs – 14,000 hectares.
