Ahangarancement produces 1.3m tonnes of cement in 9m 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ahangarancement open joint stock company, part of Eurocement Group (Russia) produced 1.3 million tonnes of cement in January-September 2011, the Russian company said.

The company added that Ahangarancement produced 1 million tonnes of clinker and 11,700 square meters of mineral wool products.

The enterprise dispatched 1.31 million tonnes of cement, of which 271,000 tonnes were exported. The export volume grew by 16,500 year-on-year.

The company used 1.355 billion soums within the investment programme. The company launched production of portland-pozzolana cement 400 (PPC). The low price of the cement helped to realize over 4,000 tonnes a day. Overall, the production of PPC made up 536,600 tonnes in nine months of 2011.

The company issued over 795 million to charity. The company supported Olympic team of Uzbekistan on weight lifting, Fund for Development of Children Sports of Uzbekistan, Karate Federation, etc.

Ahangarancement OJSC is the second largest cement plant of Uzbekistan. Its market share is 27.9%. The enterprise exports cement to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan. The enterprise produces mineral wool products, construction mixtures, ferroconcrete items.
