Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev appointed a new deputy minister of finance on 17 September 2019.

According to the resolution of the President, Ahadbek Khaydarov was appointed as Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Ahadbek Khaydarov was born in 1971 in Ferghana region. In 1994, he graduated from Tashkent State University, in 1998 Tashkent State University of Economics (correspondence), in 2001 received a master’s degree from the National Institute of Political Sciences of Japan, and in 2006, William College in Massachusetts, USA.

Prior to that, he worked as a director of the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Khaydarov is an expert with extensive practical knowledge and experience in the areas of banking, public policy (transition economics, macroeconomics), economic development, as well as trends in this area around the world.
