Agrobank’s assets increased by 13.8% in 1Q
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Agrobank open joint stock commercial bank increased its assets by 13.8% to 1.913 trillion soums in the first quarter in line with the national accounting standards.
The loan portfolio of the bank increased by 25.6% to 1.296 trillion soums, while liabilities jumped by 19.6% to 1.687 trillion soums.
Aggregate capital of Agrobank increased by 2% to 225.376 billion soums, taking into account the formed charter capital of 115.07 billion soums.
Pakhta Bank has been reorganized into Agrobank open joint stock commercial bank in March 2009. The bank renders banking services to farmers, producing agriculture enterprises, cotton and grain processing plants, etc.
Largest shareholders of Agrobank are Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan (40% in charter capital) and Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan (19%).
