Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Decree “On additional measures to improve the procedure for leasing agricultural land plots” was adopted.

According to the Decree, from 1 March 2024, electronic online auctions will be introduced instead of an open electronic competition when leasing agricultural land plots.

Wherein:
land plots are leased for a period of 30 years through electronic online auctions, in which the starting price is set in the amount of the standard cost of the land plot;

winners of electronic online auctions for the provision of land plots for lease are allowed to pay the cost of the land plot in monthly installments in equal shares for 3 years;

citizens included in the “Iron Notebook”, “Women’s Notebook” and “Youth Notebook”, who are the winners of electronic online auctions for the lease of land plots for farming, individual gardening, melon growing and livestock breeding, are allowed to pay the cost of the land plot in interest-free installments in equal installments over 5 years.

From 1 March 2024, tenants of agricultural land plots will be allowed to transfer their rights and obligations (release) on leased land plots to another person without changing the purpose of using the land plot.

Until 31 December 2024, measures will be taken to state registration of lease rights to land plots or return land to reserve for all agricultural land plots on their territories for which state registration of land rights has not been carried out, but which are actually used.
