Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In order to provide fuel sectors of the economy and residents of Uzbekistan at the low prices of Uzbekneftegaz conducts a number of measures as part of the expansion of the base of liquid hydrocarbons supplied to oil refineries.

In particular, the specialists of Uzbekneftegaz together with representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Industrial Energy Group LLC visited the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the trip, negotiations were held with specialists of the Department of Trade and Sales of Kazmunaygaz JSC Kazakhstan, and oil marketing.

It is worth noting that due to the geopolitical situation in Europe, the growing demand for Kazakhstani oil from day to day in the European market, oil prices “Kazakhstan Export Blend Crude Oil) are fluctuating.

Therefore, at present, in accordance with the bilateral agreement reached between the leadership of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, the possibility of importing oil from Kazakhstan at acceptable prices for oil refineries of Uzbekistan is being studied.

At the negotiations, Kazakh partners proposed the conditions for the supply of raw materials mined from deposits belonging to Kazmunaygaz JSC.

Also, Kazmunaygaz JSC is interested in studying the processing of raw materials at the oil refineries of Uzbekistan on Tolling. The Uzbek side is given detailed explanations in the process of processing on these conditions.

From Kazakhstan, it was reported that the raw materials resources of mining organizations under the jurisdiction of Kazmunaygaz JSC are sent to provide local refineries and the plant located in Romania, and the volumes of oil of joint ventures are undertaken by agreements.

At the same time, it was noted that in Kazakhstan there are many private oil and gas companies that are considered attractive in terms of pricing for raw materials and supply logistics. Among them, for example, the Potential Oil LLC and the oil company Azerbaijan, which engaged in drilling at the Kultuk field and others.

In order to establish contacts with these enterprises, an agreement was reached on continuing the work on the import of Kazakhstani oil to oil refineries of Uzbekistan.
