Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbaeva, held a meeting with a parliamentary delegation led by Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the strengthening of multilateral relations between Uzbekistan and China, as well as the importance of the existing system of strategic dialogue at both the inter-parliamentary and intergovernmental levels.

Special attention was given to expanding cooperation in areas such as the economy, investments, education, culture, and tourism. The discussions also covered ways to enhance interregional ties and collaboration between local representative bodies of both countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to further deepen inter-parliamentary dialogue to facilitate the successful development of bilateral relations.
