Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An agreement on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Uzbekistan is in a high degree of readiness. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Ministry, according to RIA Novosti.

“The most important area of bilateral cooperation is energy. The flagship project of our economic relations is the construction of a nuclear power plant of Russian design on the territory of Uzbekistan. An agreement on the main terms of the general contract is in a high degree of readiness," the statement said.
