AGMK’s net income grows by 47.62% in 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Net income of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine (AGMK, Tashkent region) grew by 47.62% from 87.329 billion soums in 2010 to 128.921 billion soums in 2011.

According to the annual report, net revenue grew from 1.16 trillion soums in 2010 to 1.48 trillion soums in 2011. Prime cost reached 772.382 billion soums in 2010 against 594.65 billion soums in 2010.

Gross income of AGMK grew from 564.3 billion soums in 2010 to 707.757 billion soums in 2011. Expenses rose from 419.07 billion soums to 491.451 billion soums in the reporting period.

Other income from main activity made up 140.553 billion soums in 2011 against 109.27 billion soums in 2010. Income from main activity grew from 254.49 billion soums in 2010 to 356.858 billion soums in 2011.

Income from financial activity grew from 18.82 billion soums in 2010 to 22.319 billion soums in 2011. Expenses from financial activity increased from 26.61 billion soums to 64.735 billion soums in the reporting period.

The combine’s assets grew from 1.55 trillion soums in 2010 to 2.078 trillion soums in 2012, the report said. Long-term assets rose from 871.861 billion soums to 1.135 trillion soums in the reporting period, current assets – from 678.967 billion soums to 943.336 billion soums.

Own capital of the company made up 1.409 trillion soums in 2011 against 1.052 trillion soums in 2010. The charter capital was 161.488 billion soums in 2011. Undistributed income rose from 119.074 billion soums to 368.418 billion soums in the reporting period.

AGMK’s liabilities grew from 499.18 billion soums in 2010 to 668.732 billion soums in 2011, the report said.

Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine is one of the largest producer of nonferrous metal in Central Asia and only copper producer of Uzbekistan. AGMK produces 90% of silver and 20% of gold in Uzbekistan. The company has two mining enterprises, two concentrating plants and two metallurgy plants.
