The message of Farmanov, published at the website of the company, the growth rate made up 8.8% compared to 2010.
Farmanov underlined that the forecast on mining copper ores was fulfilled with 2.5% surplus on mining works – 6.2% surplus, and processing of copper raw – almost 3%.
He said that the copper concentrating plant processed over 29 million tonnes of ore in 2011. He added that this is the best result of the enterprise for almost 20 years.
Aleksander Farmanov said that the company also fulfilled all its liabilities on mining, processing and production of copper, zinc and the preliminary and secondary metal, production of copper sulfate, cast-iron wire and other products with surplus. The production of consumer goods rose by 4.6%.
AGMK chief said that the enterprise will continue work on expanding production figures. The growth of cathode copper production will grow by 3.4%, metal zinc – by 18.8%, iron-cast wire – by 10.3% in 2012. The consumer goods’ production will also increase.
He said that the company started construction of new objects such as sulfuric acid shop, which will improve crushing process at copper concentrating plant. The company will also reconstruct copper concentrating plant No. 2, which will increase ore processing at the enterprise by 1 million tonnes a year. It is also planned to reconstruct crushing and conveyor complex from Kalmakyr mine to copper concentrating plant, which will cut transportation expenses and primary cost.
