AGMK exports US$29 million worth of products in January
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January 2025, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AGMK) exported products worth US$28.8 million.
The company shipped 2,700 tons of copper products to foreign consumers, exceeding the forecast by 8.4%. Zinc exports totaled 1,500 tons, surpassing projections by 19.3%, with a growth rate of 153.5% compared to the same period last year.
A notable increase was also recorded in copper sulfate exports, where the forecast was met at 101.7%, and the growth rate reached 138.8%.
AGMK continues to expand its export geography, currently supplying products to 19 countries. In 2024, the company entered new markets, including Guinea, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, and Portugal, exporting copper wire rod and copper sulfate.
In 2025, AGMK plans to further expand its export reach by entering the Israeli and Moroccan markets.
