Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to August 2024, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AGMK) exported products valued at US$425.57 million.
The company reported that during this period, it shipped 36,219 tons of copper products and 18,337 tons of zinc products abroad. Additionally, 8,121 tons of copper sulfate were exported.
The company also met its forecasted export targets for rhenium, cadmium, and palladium powder. Foreign buyers received 520 tons of molybdenum products and 11,302 tons of lead concentrate.
Currently, the complex’s products are exported to 19 countries. In 2024, new markets were developed, with copper rod and copper sulfate from AGMK beginning shipments to Guinea, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Morocco, and Portugal.
