Agile Scale & Innovation 2025: Central Asia’s Largest Agile, Transformation, and AI conference held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 May, Tashkent hosted Agile Scale & Innovation 2025, the largest regional conference dedicated to scaling agile methodologies, organizational transformation, and artificial intelligence. The event gathered over 300 participants, including tech teams, transformation leaders, engineers, system architects, and top managers.

The conference featured three parallel tracks: a main hall, a technical section, and a workshop area, alongside an exhibition space showcasing Uzbekistan’s leading IT communities. Attendees could tailor their experience by choosing sessions that aligned with their professional interests.

“In recent years, Uzbekistan has shown a growing interest in agile practices. We’ve created a platform for open knowledge exchange around scaling processes, engineering solutions, and team collaboration. This conference is about more than insights — it’s about building lasting professional connections and aligning IT with business,” said Natalia Ni, leader of Agile Uzbekistan.

Speakers included industry experts from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Russia, Belarus, and Singapore, bringing extensive international experience in technology, management, and organizational development. Among them were:

Takhir Bazarov — Doctor of Psychology, Distinguished Professor at Moscow State University, and author of over 25 academic publications;

Vladi Ruppo — Vice President at EPAM Systems, with over 25 years of experience in global tech companies;

Mahmudkhoja Juratov — Product Director at Webase, leading the development of national-scale digital solutions.

The main hall focused on leadership in times of uncertainty, business transformation in the AI era, modern project management techniques, and team motivation strategies. A highlight was the international panel on the intersection of Agile and artificial intelligence.

The technical track explored topics such as scalable IT architectures, engineering practices, and resilient system design. In the workshop zone, participants engaged in hands-on training, practicing key Agile tools in an interactive format.

An exhibition featuring local IT communities ran in parallel, allowing visitors to connect with organizations such as IT Community of Uzbekistan, Product Community, QA Uzbek Community, DevOps Uzbekistan, Women in Tech, Startup Chaykhana, and Agile Community Uzbekistan.

“At School 21, we offer free training for IT specialists while nurturing a culture of teamwork, accountability, and agility — the core principles of Agile. Events like this allow our students and professionals to experience real-world practices and become part of the community,” said Zarina Lukhmanova, Executive Director of School 21.

Agile Scale & Innovation 2025 highlighted the power of combining local initiatives with international expertise to foster the growth of Central Asia’s professional IT ecosystem.

The event was organized by Agile Uzbekistan and the digital technology school School 21.
