Aggregate tax burden decreases twice – Uzbek leader
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is decreasing tax burden to the entrepreneurship entities, the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov said at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers on 19 January 2012.

Uzbek President underlined that structural reforms in economy, increasing of business activity and financial sustainability of business entities, rational tax reforms helped to cut tax burden.

Islam Karimov said that total tax burden decreased almost twice from 41.2% to GDP in 1991 and 22% in 2011.

He said that decrease of single tax for microfirms and small businesses from 7% to 6% helped to growth of investment activity, which helped to direct 80.3 billion soums to re-equipment of capacities and introduction of new technologies.
