Aggregate assets of Asaka Bank reach 8.03 trillion soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Aggregate assets of joint stock commercial bank “Asaka” reached 8.03 trillion soums as of 1 November 2016.

According to the press service of the bank, currently its aggregate capital made up 993.2 billion soums.

During independence years, the volume of aggregate assets rose by 147 times, aggregate capital – almost 49 times, the bank’s statement said.

The volume of credit investments of Asaka Bank exceeded 4.082 trillion soums as of 1 November 2016. Major part of loan portfolio is long-term loans. During the independence years, credit investments of the bank rose by 205 times.

At the same time, Asaka Bank issued loan-term investment loans worth 1.174 trillion soums.

In line with investment programme of Uzbekistan for 2016, total sum of the credits of Asaka Bank, directed at financing of investment projects, reached US$687.2 million.

The bank financed leasing projects for 28.1 billion soums. Total leasing portfolio of the bank made up 113.8 billion soums.

The volume of loans, issued by Asaka Bank, to financial support of small and private businesses is growing each year. This year, it is planned to increase the volume of issued loans by 101 times compared to 2002. In ten months of 2016, the bank issued loans for 1.328 trillion soums to development of entrepreneurship.

Asaka Bank plans to allocate loans for US$1.6 trillion soums to development of small and private businesses.

As of 1 November 2016, the balance of deposits made up 747 billion soums. As of 1 November 2016, number of issued banking cards reached 1.73 million units. The bank installed 11,075 POS-terminals. Transactions with the banking cards made up almost 2 trillion soums in ten months of 2016.

Asaka Bank also issued over 154,000 unites of international banking cards MasterCard and Maestro.
