Aggregate assets of Asaka Bank reach 10.45bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Aggregate assets of Asaka Bank as of 1 January 2017 rose by 3.04 trillion soums and reached 10.45 trillion soums, the press service of the Uzbek bank said.

Aggregate capital of the bank increased by 108.04 billion soums and exceeded 1.023 trillion soums.

The volume of loans in soum equivalent made up 5.318 trillion soums. The long term loans reached 5.034 trillion soums, investment loans – 4.393 trillion soums.

The bank directed US$273.4 million to finance investment projects, which were included to investment programme of Uzbekistan for 2016.

Asaka Bank allocated 454.9 billion soums to construction of houses in all regions of Uzbekistan. About 74 apartment houses were constructed due to loans of Asaka Bank.

The bank financed 41 leasing projects for 55 billion soums in 2016. As of 1 January 2017, total leasing portfolio reached 124.7 billion soums.

The bank received 46 bankrupt enterprises to its balance. Some 14 subsidiary enterprises were created based on the properties of these enterprises. The bank invested 80.6 billion soums to these companies. In the result, 4,214 new jobs were created. They produced goods for 850.4 billion soums and exported products for US$77.9 million.

Small business and private entrepreneurs received loans for 1.52 trillion soums. Loans for 631.3 billion soums were directed to expansion of production of food and non-food consumer goods.

The credits, issued to graduates of colleges, made up over 15 billion soums. Businesswomen received loans for 129.2 billion soums.

The balance on deposits rose by 215.8 billion soums in 2016 and reached 814.9 billion soums as of 1 January 2017.

Asaka Bank as of 1 January 2017 issued about 1.731 million banking cards. The bank installed 11,128 POS-terminals at enterprises, banks, etc. Turnover with use of banking cards made up over 2.474 trillion soums.
