Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 28 November 2019, UP-5886, it is planned to submit applications for the issuance of subsidies to citizens from March 1, 2020 through the Public Service Centers or my.gov.uz portal.

Subsidies are given to a certain category of citizens for the purchase of housing at market value. That is, they have nothing to do with affordable homes.

According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers from 9 February 2018 No. 103, the commission at the district (city) khokimiyats, which selects candidates for the Program for the construction of affordable houses for updated standard projects in rural areas for 2017 - 2021, does not allocate subsidies.

But, with the approval of the Decree mentioned above, the Affordable Housing Program does not end! The legislation has not been amended to refuse applications to citizens by khokimiyats.

Your queues for affordable housing will not be changed through the Public Services Centers, the centers have nothing to do with this issue. On this issue it is necessary to contact the local khokimiyats.

According to the resolution, these subsidies will be paid to repay the down payment and (or) part of the interest on a mortgage to the poor and needing to improve their living conditions at the expense of the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

However, to determine the subsidies, citizens will be selected within the framework of specific criteria, and together with the application they will need to provide a certain set of documents.

These criteria, exact terms and the confirming folder of documents must be approved by the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers and only after that this service can be fully launched.

At the moment, the State Services Agency has established the possibility of accepting applications through the Centers.

After the adoption of the decision, the selection procedure for persons receiving subsidies will be approved. You just need to wait for the decision.
