Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Government resolution approved the “Regulation on the Consumer Rights Protection Agency under the Antimonopoly Committee”.

In accordance with the Regulation, the Agency is determined by a competent state body implementing a unified state policy in the field of consumer protection and regulation of the advertising market.

Providing consumers with the opportunity to obtain true and complete information about the product, its manufacturer, contractor and seller is one of the main tasks of the Agency.

The agency is headed by a director who is appointed and dismissed by the Cabinet of Ministers.
