Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Government of Uzbekistan approved the Regulation on the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investment under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.

In accordance with the Regulations, participation in the implementation of a unified state investment policy aimed at attracting foreign investors to the economy of the republic, creating favorable conditions for foreign investors is one of the main tasks of the Agency.

The agency is headed by a director appointed and dismissed by the Government on the proposal of the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade.

The effectiveness of the Agency’s activities is subject to regular evaluation.

Employees of the Agency are paid surcharges for continuous work experience (seniority).
