Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of the Asian Football Confederation Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa arrived in Tashkent.

President of the National Olympic Committee, the First Vice President of Uzbekistan Football Association Umid Akhmatjanov met the honorary guest at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

The main purpose of the AFC President’s visit is to attend the AFC Executive Committee meeting, which will be held in Tashkent on 26 September for the first time.

The AFC General Secretary Dato’ Windsor John has also arrived in Tashkent.
