A Member Association is deemed eligible as long as it has an active Futsal Committee and an active nationwide home and away league.

In a letter sent to the Member Associations of Australia, China, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Philippines, UAE, Lebanon, Qatar, Thailand and Uzbekistan, AFC has also announced the Finals format.

As per the decision of the AFC Futsal Committee at its recent meeting on May 30, 2010, the top three placed countries in the previous edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship - Iran, Qatar and Japan, plus the host country of the Finals competition in 2011, will be given a direct entry into the tournament proper.

If any of the top three countries is selected as hosts, the fourth placed team from AFC Futsal Club Championship 2010 will be the replacement.

The remaining four teams will be selected via qualifiers for the eight-team Finals.

The qualification stage is scheduled to be held in the second week of February 2011 in a neutral venue. Further details such as venue and dates will be announced after evaluating the entries.

The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four and top teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.

Deadline for the submission of entries is July 6, 2010. The draw for the qualification round will be held during the second week of December 2010.
