According to the organizers, legends and tales that accompany the history of any city or a landmark are always incredibly interesting and well remembered by the audience. These semi-facts and semi-fictions often make the stories of guides more vivid and interesting, disposing travelers to adventure and romantic mood.
Organizers of the contest invite everyone to think up a new parable of a favorite hero of Oriental tales Hodja Nasreddin, the monument to whom stands in the historic heart of famous Bukhara, near the Labi-Khauz. It has long been believed that if you rub the right kavush (shoe) of Bronze Hodja Nasreddin, it will bring you good luck. And the contestants should think of why this is so.
The main prize is a two-day tour to Bukhara from Advantour. Two winners of the second place will receive the Moscow edition of "Tale of Hodja Nasreddin", written by Leonid Solovyov.
Author of a parable, which won the Audience Award, will receive a graphic picture "Right Kavush of Hodja Nasreddin” made by the Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Alisher Alikulov with his autograph.
The contest will run until March 18, 2012, and results will be announced by organizers on Navruz.
