Adolat Party members hold negotiations with German MP
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting of member of the Social-Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” with deputy chairperson of parliamentary group of German Bundestag “Germany-Central Asia” Ute Kumpf.

Ute Kumpf, also member of committee on transport, construction and city development of Bundestag, shared her view on achievements of Uzbekistan.

Kumpf underlined that during short time of development, Uzbekistan moved away from one-sided and hypertrophied feed economy, as well as undeveloped production and social infrastructure, to new heights and cardinally changed its face and place in the international community.

She highly rated democratic and social-economic reforms in Uzbekistan, including reforms in democratization of the government, reforms in judicial sphere and civil society institute, mass media, election process, deepening market reforms and liberalization of economy, during independence years.

Ute Kumpf expressed her assurance that the concept for further deepening democratic reforms and formation of civil society in Uzbekistan will allow the country to enter to list of the most developed and democratic countries of the world, as it includes progressive and democratic ideas.

She underlined that Aral Sea problem and other ecological issues are also important for Social-Democrats at the meeting.

German MP expressed her assurance that the meeting will serve as impulse for developing relations between Adolat and Social-Democratic Party of Germany and develop inter-parliamentary cooperation between two states.
