Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The resolution of the President "On the parameters of the state order for admission to state higher educational institutions in the 2023/2024 academic year" was adopted.

Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, the parameters of the state order for admission to state higher educational institutions are approved exclusively for the state grant.

The document approved the following quotas for the 2023/2024 academic year:

full-time undergraduate programs - 34,860 people;

graduate programs - 8,923 people.

Ministries and departments that manage universities, as well as universities that have been granted financial independence, approve the admission parameters on a fee-based contract basis until 20 June 2023.

Along with this, according to the document, starting from the 2022/2023 academic year:

for women without higher education who have received the recommendations of the State Committee of the Family and Women, 2,000 state grants are allocated in addition to the general established parameters for admission to full-time undergraduate studies on the basis of a state grant;

1,000 state grants are allocated for the training of personnel in foreign higher educational organizations and their branches, as well as non-state higher educational organizations operating in the republic;

the amount of a paid contract for women accepted as students in the master’s program of state higher educational institutions on a basic paid-contract basis within the allocated admission parameters is covered from the State budget.
