Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cybersecurity Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs identified and detained a group of people who created channels and groups called "HELLO TASHKENT, SALAM TASHKENT" in the Telegram messenger and posted photos and videos degrading the honor and dignity of citizens. 

Group and channel administrators extorted money from citizens in exchange for deleting published images degrading the honor and dignity of citizens.

It is reported that a criminal case has been initiated on this fact under paragraph “b” of Article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (extortion on a large scale).

The video published in the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs shows 6 people, among whom there are girls.

Under this article, criminals are punished with restriction of freedom from three to five years or imprisonment from three to five years, and on a large scale - imprisonment from five to ten years.

Law enforcement agencies will forgive citizens affected by the actions of these persons to report by numbers 102 or +998 99 117-60-87.
