Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A government resolution “On approval of certain administrative regulations for the provision of public services in the field of media and communications” was adopted.

The resolution approved the following regulations:

- the provision of public services for state registration of mass media;

- the provision of public services for the issuance of permits for the implementation of printing services;

- the provision of public services for licensing publishing.

In accordance with these regulations, individuals and legal entities can apply for public services only through the Public Services Centers or the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services.

According to the regulations, a certificate of state registration of the media, and a license for the right to publish are issued for an unlimited period, and a certificate for printing is issued for a period of five years.
