Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the fifty-second plenary meeting of the Senate, the Law “On introducing amendments to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on administrative liability in connection with increased liability for violation of legislation in the field of leasing state property” was discussed.

Today, in practice, there are a large number of cases of violations related to the ineffective use of state property and violation of the procedure for leasing it. This, in turn, requires improving measures aimed at preventing violations of legislation in the field of leasing state property.

In this regard, the Law discussed by senators establishes administrative liability for violation of legislation in the field of leasing state property.

In particular, an additional article is added to the Code of Administrative Responsibility, according to which the provision of lease of state property without concluding a lease agreement in accordance with the established procedure, unjustified obstacles to the tenant in accepting leased state property, access to its territory and its use, or provision of lease of state property indicating in the lease agreement incorrect parameters and the quantity of state property being leased shall entail the imposition of a fine on officials from five to ten basic calculated amounts.

The same offense committed again within a year after the application of an administrative penalty entails a fine on officials from ten to fifteen basic calculation amounts.

The senators noted that this Law serves to ensure the effective use of state property, reliable protection of the rights and legitimate interests of tenants.

Following the discussion, the Law was approved by the senators.
