Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On additional measures to improve the provision of loans and increase permanent sources of income for the population as part of the Family Business Development Program” was adopted.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President from 31 January 2023 No. PP-39 “On additional measures to raise to a new stage of support for business initiatives of the population within the framework of family business development programs” in 2023:

within the framework of programs 2.8 trillion soums of credit funds are allocated at the expense of own resources of Khalq Bank, Agrobank and Microcreditbank;

the procedure for issuing loans at a rate of 14% per annum is maintained.

The size of microcredits for the effective use of household lands at the expense of the Fund for Support of Farmers, Dekhkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands increases to 3 million soums. These microcredits are allocated through the Unified Electronic Platform for Family Business Development Programs.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan, the khokims of the regions and the city of Tashkent, together with commercial banks, are responsible for repaying the allocated loans on time.

Relevant changes are being made to the Regulations on the procedure for granting loans through the Unified Electronic Platform for Family Business Development Programs, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 373 from 8 July 2022.
