Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The five teams looking to qualify for the revamped AFC Champions League will find out what stands between them and Asia’s premier club competition when the play-off draw is held at AFC house on Thursday.

All the matches will be one-off games with Thursday’s draw determining which team has home advantage.

Thailand champions Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) will be keen to avoid the artificial pitch at Jalan Besar Stadium when they take on 2008 AFC Cup quarter-finalists Singapore Armed Forces on 18 February, with the winner advancing to take on Indonesia’s PSMS Medan seven days later at a venue that will also be determined at the draw.

The West region’s play-off will also be held on 25 February when Dempo faces a representative from the UAE either at home in India or in the Emirates.

The draw is scheduled to take place at 1500hrs Kuala Lumpur time.
