Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Accor, the world’s leading hotel group, and InterHotel LLC announce the signing of a cooperation agreement, under which a hotel under the Swiss brand Mövenpick will be opened in Tashkent. 

The signed agreement envisages the rebranding of the well-known International Hotel Tashkent, located in the heart of Tashkent. Opened in 1997, it became the first five-star hotel in Uzbekistan and is now very popular among international visitors and residents of the city. As a result of the rebranding, the hotel will open a new chapter in its history under the world-famous Mövenpick brand, offering guests the highest standards of service, wellness, gastronomy and family holidays, as well as additional benefits through the global loyalty program ALL - Accor Live Limitless.

Mövenpick Hotel Tashkent will open as a result of the rebranding of the International Hotel Tashkent, located on Amir Temur Avenue - one of the central streets of the city leading to the main Mustaqillik Square (Independence Square), close to business centers, numerous shops and restaurants.

The hotel is located half an hour from the international airport and a 20-minute drive from the railway station, from where you can get to Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and other major cities of Uzbekistan by high-speed train. Travelers who prefer to travel around the city by metro can use the nearest station to the hotel "Badamzar".

Near the hotel building is the International Business Center and the main exhibition site of the country - UzExpoCenter. On its territory there is an amusement park Tashkentland with attractions, a water park with several pools and a variety of slides, as well as a Japanese garden with a large lake and a tea house for the whole family.

The opening of the Mövenpick Hotel Tashkent is scheduled for the end of 2023.
