Accessibility screen appeared in the Yandex Go app in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 19 April, in all cities of Uzbekistan where the Yandex Go service operates, options for users with disabilities became available in test mode:

- Help find the car;

- I communicate only by text;

- I do not speak, but I hear;

- I’ll be in a wheelchair.

They can already be selected for ordering trips in all cities of Uzbekistan where the service is available.

Special options are collected in the Yandex Go application on a separate screen. They can be selected for trips at any rate. To help drivers, the service has developed practical recommendations. They are available to all market participants. This will help make recommendations more convenient for drivers to reduce the risk of misunderstandings when ordering and when traveling.

For the driver who accepted the order, the application will tell what to do on a trip with accessibility options, for example:

- "Help me find a car." In the trip card, the driver will have a comment that the user needs help finding a car, getting to it and getting into the passenger compartment.

- "I communicate only by text." If a person does not have the opportunity to communicate by voice, all clarifications of the driver will be asked to request via chat.

“I don’t speak, but I hear.” The driver will receive a comment to the order, that the user will hear his question, but will answer with gestures or text.

- "I’ll be in a wheelchair." If this option is selected, the driver will have the comment "Will be in a wheelchair, need help with landing, empty trunk."

If the driver understands that for some reason he cannot complete an order with a special option, he can refuse it.

Earlier, the Yandex Go service at a round table dedicated to the development of an accessible environment in Uzbekistan, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan and the public association of the disabled "SHAROIT PLUS", shared plans to launch an accessibility screen.
