The average transaction sum of the remittances from Russia to Uzbekistan was US$492 in the first quarter of 2014 against US$513 in the same period of 2013 (-4.1%).
The volume of remittances from Uzbekistan to Russia rose from US$127 million in January-March 2013 to US$137 million in the first three months of 2014. The growth made up 7.87%.
According to the Central Bank of Russia, average sum of one transaction from Uzbekistan to Russia fell from US$1,816 to US$1,750 in the reporting period.
The Central Bank of Russia monitors such money transfer systems as Anelik, BLIZKO, Coinstar Money Transfer, Contact, InterExpress, Migom, MoneyGram, PrivatMoney, UNIStream, Western Union, Aziya Express, ALLYUR, Blitz, Bystraya Pochta, Zolotaya Korona and LIDER, as well as Pochta Rossii.
