The committee said that Europe and Asia accounted about 97.6% of foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan in the reporting period.
At the same time, share of these continents in Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover decreased by 0.1 percentage point (97.7% in January-June 2010).
The committee stated that share of Europe in foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan decreased from 57.6% in January-September 2010 to 56.5% in the reporting period of 2011. At the same time, the share of Asia rose from 40.1% to 41.1%.
In the structure of foreign trade turnover, share of American continent rose from 1.9% in nine months of 2010 to 2.2% in the same period of 2011. Share of Africa fell from 0.3% to 0.2%, Australia and Oceania – from 0.1% to 0.
Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan in January-September 2011 made up US$18.874 billion (with the CIS countries - US$7.757 billion, with other countries - US$11.117 billion).
