About 95 objects were privatized in Uzbekistan in 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About 95 enterprises and objects (including programme and non-programme objects) were privatized in Uzbekistan in 2011, the State Statistics Committee said quoting data of the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan.

The greatest number of objects was privatized in Tashkent city (55 objects), Ferghana region (8 objects), Tashkent region (7 objects), Namangan region and Syrdarya region (5 objects per each), Navoi region and Kashkadarya region (4 objects per each).

In the structure of privatized state property, the highest share falls upon objects of local authorities – 83 objects.

Receipts of money from privatization and decentralization reached to 39.2 billion soums in January-December 2011.

The most part of receipts received from decentralization and privatization was marked in Tashkent city (58.2% of total receipts), Ferghana region (12.5%), Namangan region (9.6%), Tashkent region (8%), and Karakalpakstan Republic (3.8%).
