Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About 9,100 citizens of 45 countries of the world received an entry visa to Uzbekistan within 50 days after the introduction of the E-VISA.GOV.UZ system.

According to the State Committee of Tourism of Uzbekistan, the most visas were issued to Chinese citizens - 2043, the USA - 998, Great Britain - 900, India - 716, France - 588, Germany - 509, Italy - 417, Poland - 356 and Australia - 253.

The e-visa.gov.uz system was launched on 15 July. Citizens, arriving in Uzbekistan for tourist purposes from countries for which a simplified procedure for issuing a visa is established, can use the system.

The application is considered within two working days. The electronic visa is issued for a single stay in the territory of Uzbekistan for a period of 30 days. It is valid for 90 days.

An electronic visa is sent to an e-mail address, when crossing the border, it is enough to submit a visa in paper or electronic form.
