Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- More than 894,270 applicants applied for admission to state universities in Uzbekistan in 2024, which is a record low for the last six years. 

According to the Knowledge and Skills Assessment Agency, this year the number of applicants amounted to 894,279 people.

Over the past six years, with the exception of 2021, the number of applicants has exceeded 1 million annually.
