Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the territory of the Mubarek gas processing plant, sulfur products are collected as a secondary product, in order to eliminate the negative consequences of environmental pollution, a number of works are being carried out to sell sulfur products and reduce waste. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

As a result of the special attention of the Chairman of the Board of the company to this situation, the company managed to secure foreign exchange earnings by exporting sulfur products abroad.

During 2022, only 436,000 tons of sulfur products were sold at the expense of the Mubarek gas processing plant and joint ventures.

In particular, in January-December 2022, the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant exported 38,500 tons of sulfur products, and achieved additional foreign exchange earnings.

Large industrial enterprises - Navoiuran JSC, Navoiazot JSC, Maxam-Chichiq JSC sold 157.6 thousand tons, and private entrepreneurs 144.8 thousand tons of sulfur products, totaling 394.3 billion soums.

Mubarek Gas Processing Plant, in particular, in accordance with agreements on storage, loading and provision of transport services for the products of partner organizations, received 95,100 tons of sulfur products of joint ventures.

In January 2023, it is planned to sell only 22,000 tons of sulfur products. All necessary measures are taken to ensure timely delivery of products to consumers.
