Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About 30 new family guest houses were opened in “Soy Buyi” mahalla in Nanai village of Yangikurgan district of Namangan region in a day.
The working group, consisting of representatives of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local authorities, as well as the Tax Inspectorate, Center for Public Services, registered the owners of family guest houses as individual entrepreneurs and issued them certificates.
Now, local residents living in the village of “Soy Buyi” can open their own guest houses and receive tourists who come here for recreation. Explanatory work on strict observance of sanitary and hygienic standards was carried out.
It should be noted that during the period associated with the current coronavirus pandemic, the decision of the Republican Special Commission allowed the opening of family guest houses in the "green" and "yellow" zones.
The opening of family guest houses in the region will serve to ensure employment of the local population, especially women, and at the same time promote the development of domestic tourism. In one day about 30 guest houses were opened in this mahalla alone. Currently, work in this direction continues.
