About 17 objects privatized in Uzbekistan in 1Q 2012
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Some 17 enterprises and objects (including program and non-program objects) were privatized in Uzbekistan in the first quarter of 2012, according to the State Property Committee.

The greatest number of objects was privatized in the city of Tashkent (12 objects). In the structure of privatized state property the highest share falls upon objects of local authorities – 15 objects, the State Statistics Committee said.

Receipts of money from privatization and decentralization amounted to 8.4 billion soums in January-March 2012.

The most part of receipts received from decentralization and privatization was marked in Khorezm oblast (52.4% of total receipts) and Tashkent city (39.6%).
