Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 6 February, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan congratulated Olzhas Bektenov on his appointment to the post of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

Hope was expressed that the important tasks set by the heads of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to the governments of the two countries for the further development of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance will be implemented in close cooperation.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan sent a congratulatory letter to his Kazakh counterpart on the occasion of his appointment to this position.
