Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Foreign Policy Abdulaziz Kamilov held a meeting in Brussels with Chief Advisor on Diplomatic Affairs to the President of the European Council Simon Mordue.
According to the Dunyo agency, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Uzbek-European relations, emphasizing the importance of strengthening political dialogue, expanding economic cooperation and cultural exchanges.
They also emphasized the need to form sustainable interregional connectivity and discussed cooperation in the field of ecology, including holding the International Climate Forum in Samarkand.
The European side supported the Uzbek initiative in this matter.
A high assessment was noted of Uzbekistan’s pragmatic policy towards Afghanistan, including providing assistance to the Afghan people and preventing a humanitarian crisis.
