Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The khokimiyat of Tashkent region and Wildberries signed a memorandum on strategic partnership and construction of a large logistics center for the Russian marketplace in the republic within the framework of the Third Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan.

It is expected that the new infrastructure facility will become the company’s largest logistics center outside of Russia and will create over 7.5 thousand jobs for Uzbek citizens.

The opening of the center is planned for 2025. Currently, a feasibility study of the project and other necessary documentation is being prepared.

It is planned that the area of the logistics center will be over 1️50 thousand square meters, and the volume of investments will be about US$140 million.
