Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Yandex.Taxi found out what things are sent in Uzbekistan using the “Delivery” service. Usually users pack orders, and the driver does not know what exactly he is transpoting. But often people themselves warn that they transmit. The service asked drivers about this and highlighted the most popular and unusual delivery cases since the launch of the tariff.
Most often in Uzbekistan they deliver ready-made food, clothes, electronics, flowers, keys and documents. Building materials, auto parts and cosmetics are a little less common.
Yandex.Taxi service launched the “Delivery” service in April this year. It can be found among other tariffs in the application - in the same place where you book a regular trip. Using Delivery, users can transfer clothing, food, medicine or other things to their loved ones, and small companies can send orders to customers.
And although animals cannot be transported in Delivery, users tried to send kittens, puppies, talking parrots, rabbits, and even a beehive with bees.
Drivers shared the most unusual things that they drove. For example, users passed one bulb, hair for a wig, toilet paper, a gold bar and a large number of mannequins that occupied the entire salon. And once the driver delivered a men's sock with a tie.
Touching stories also happen in Delivery. So, a resident of Tashkent sent an engagement ring to his beloved using Yandex.Taxi. It turned out that because of the quarantine, the couple filed an application for marriage registration remotely using the online form. Another user decided to transfer the product package, but did not specify the recipient. He asked to deliver it to those who now need it. The driver drove food to an elderly neighbor in need in his mahalla.
