Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will adopt a three-year program for the development of tourism in Khorezm region.
This was announced during a meeting on priority tasks of socio-economic development of the Khorezm region.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that a three-year program for the development of tourism, which is one of the main drivers of Khorezm, will be adopted.
The income of the Tourism Support Fund will remain at the disposal of Khorezm region for 3 years.
A visa system “Uzbekistan is my second home” will be introduced for tourists to enter Khorezm without restrictions for a period of one year.
At the same time, there is a shortage of hotels in a number of districts of Khorezm region.
Now, for the creation of hotels and sanatoriums, loans will be issued at a rate of 18% for a period of 7 years with a two-year grace period.
