Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of the Technical Assistance Program by World Bank experts, a training seminar was held for employees of the relevant departments of the Central Bank on the topic “Criteria for candidates for the position of bank managers and their assessment. International experience and practical examples”.

As part of the training seminar, special attention was paid to the importance of assessing the compliance of members of the supervisory board and the board, as well as key personnel of the bank. The main criteria are presented, which are widely used in the EU countries when assessing candidates’ compliance, the assessment procedure, as well as the responsibility of the supervisor in maintaining transparency and objectivity of this process.

During the training, World Bank experts clarified the critical aspects of assessing professional experience, knowledge and skills, business reputation and the independence of judgment of members of the supervisory board and the board, as well as key personnel of the bank.

The event was held in an interactive format, visual examples from the practice of European Union states were analyzed.
