However, at the 9th picket, at a distance of 3750 km, trackman M. Shodiyorov, returning to the brigade along the railway tracks and not leaving the edge, did not pay attention to the warning signals given by the trackman foreman M. Alikulov and the driver of the Afrosiyob electric train.

As a result of this, electric train No. 770, traveling along the Tashkent-Bukhara route, collided with railway worker M. Shodiyorov, which led to his immediate death.
