Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential Resolution "On measures to conduct a legal experiment to implement investment projects and improve urban infrastructure in the city of Tashkent on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation between the state and business entities" was adopted.

According to the Resolution:

From 1 October 2023, data on the municipal property of information systems of the Ministry of Justice, the State Assets Management Agency, the Cadastre Agency, the Tax Committee and other state bodies are loaded into the Digital Tashkent integrated program through the mutual integration of these systems.

From 1 January 2024, key performance indicators for each municipal property will be determined, monitoring of their implementation is carried out by the Tashkent Invest Company Joint Stock Company.

Every year, until 31 December, minimum rental rates for the use of real state property, as well as the amount of rent paid by business entities in small industrial zones, are established on the basis of market principles.

On 1 October 2023, a simplified procedure for the implementation by the Company of public-private partnership projects with a project cost of up to US$1 million equivalent will be introduced in the city of Tashkent based on the facilities provided for in the following list.

Until 1 January 2024, a system for identifying and promptly solving problems will be introduced by integrating the information systems of public utilities into the integrated Digital Tashkent program.

From 1 March 2024, the Tashkent city branches of the enterprises of Khududiy Elektr Tarmoklari JSC and Khududgaztaminot JSC will be reorganized into Tashkent Shahar Elektr Tarmoklari LLC and Tashkent Shahar Gaz Taminoti LLC.

From 1 January  2024, running water resources, including technical water, will be used on a paid basis.
