Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on the creation of a special industrial zone “Yangi Avlod” in the city of Tashkent.

This zone will operate in Yangikhayot district for 30 years and will provide participants with various benefits, including tax and customs preferences.

The zone will be managed by the Yangi Avlod company in the form of an LLC.

Land plots for investment projects will be leased through the E-auksion electronic platform.

It is planned to attract foreign direct investment up to US$1.5 billion by the end of 2025, which will lead to the creation of more than 2.5 thousand new jobs.
