Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 November 2024, a solo concert of the Chinese virtuoso pianist Lang Lang will take place for the first time in Tashkent.

The event will take place at the Palace of International Forums "Uzbekistan" and will be the musician’s debut performance in Central Asia.

Lang Lang is now a leading figure in contemporary classical music and enjoys playing for thousands of spectators at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games or the Grammy Awards, as well as in chamber halls around the world.

This year the musician plans to perform in various capitals of the world, including Tashkent.

In his solo program, Lang Lang will perform works by Fryderyk Chopin, Robert Schumann and Georges Fouret.

The concert was organized with the support of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan.
