Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An official meeting ceremony of the heads of state participating in the first Central Asia-China Summit was held in the Tang Dynasty Park in the city of Xi’an.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife were solemnly welcomed by the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and his wife.

The ceremony was also attended by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov with his wife, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. There was a joint photograph.

Distinguished guests on the square in front of the palace are presented with colorful theatrical performances and a concert program that reflects the rich history and culture of China.
